If you work or volunteer in the therapeutic riding industry or are interested in learning more about it, plan to attend the 2026 National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation’s 2026 Coaches Summit. Registration is now open for this three-day educational workshop, which will be held May 15-17 in Burleson, Texas.

The workshop is open to equine industry professionals, therapeutic riding center coaches, staff, volunteers and anyone interested in exploring opportunities for engagement and expansion of riding programs for Equestrians With Disabilities. Instruction will concentrate on the value and inclusion of competition for Equestrians With Disabilities and veterans using horses as a form of therapeutic riding, and will also include instruction on grant writing, fundraising and strategies for building industry networks.

This year’s workshop will have expanded hands-on learning opportunities and experiences, and will be held in conjunction with the Ride And Shine EWD Show. During the show, workshop participants will have the opportunity to experience show management, judging and coaching first hand.

The theme for the workshop is “A Model of Inclusion for All Riders.” The Coaches Summit is presented as a special project of the NSBA Foundation and is now in its eighth year.
